Dr.Jennifer Reese Clarke

Dr. Clarke grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area participating in 3-Day Eventing, Dressage and Pony Club. She completed both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees at UC Davis. She completed a year-long internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital in Bonsall, CA and joined EMA in 2008. Her professional interests include lameness and sport horse medicine. Dr.Clarke has completed the Equine Acupuncture course, the Evidence Based Acupuncture course, and the Tui-Na (Chinese Veterinary Massage) course at the Chi Institute in Florida, and is excited to bring Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine to EMA. Dr. Clarke has also obtained her FEI certification in Jumping and is able to work as an Official Veterinarian at FEI sanctioned events. She has also worked as a control veterinarian at endurance rides throughout Southern California. She recently married showjumping rider Lane Clarke and they are expecting their first child in October 2014. When she's not pregnant, Dr.Clarke enjoys riding, running, volleyball, and gardening.
